This 17-day tour is not just about seeing the locations of Nepal, but experiencing it genuinely. This tour lets you pay closer attention and experience a more profound sense of connection to the environment, culture, and yourself. It takes you from the holy stupas & temples of Kathmandu to serene rural paths, from lowland jungle safaris to Himalayan sunrises.

Starting in the center of the Kathmandu Valley, you will see historic palaces, revered temples, and lively districts that are teeming with customs and history. From there, you’ll travel leisurely via sleepy hill towns like Panauti, Dhulikhel, and Nagarkot, where serene country walks and Himalayan sunrises beckon you to take your time and appreciate everything.

From there, the journey takes a turn toward the wild and the peaceful, beginning with Chitwan, where nature is right at your doorstep. You’ll glide down a quiet river in a canoe, go on safari drives through the jungle, and spot rhinos, deer, and all kinds of birds along the way. It’s a place where the air smells like earth and trees, and the evenings come alive with traditional music and dance from the local Tharu community.

Then it’s on to Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha. It’s calm and quiet there—monasteries from all over the world tucked into peaceful gardens, prayer flags fluttering in the breeze, and a stillness that invites you to slow down and just be present.

After that, you’ll arrive in Pokhara, the kind of place that makes you want to stay longer than planned. Mornings start with mountain reflections in Phewa Lake, days are filled with visits to caves, waterfalls, and temples, and the evenings? Perfect for unwinding by the water or catching sunset from a peaceful hilltop. And when you’re ready for a little more adventure, a short hike to Dhampus village gives you open skies, mountain views, and a quiet look at life in the hills.

Then, while returning to Kathmandu, we will spend a night in Bandipur, a mountain village with cobblestone alleys, traditional Newari dwellings, and breathtaking panoramic views of mountains.

Once you return to Kathmandu, you will have memories, experiences, and emotions that are impossible to capture in photographs. Perhaps it’s the tranquility of the mountains at sunrise, the smile of a local child, the thrill of seeing a rhino in the wild, or the peaceful delight of savoring tea on a hilltop.

This is a beautifully curated tour that lets you explore not only a particular country, but also yourself and the people who live there. Upon departing, a fragment of Nepal remains delicately nestled within your spirit.

Day02

Full day sightseeing of Basantapur, Swayambhunath, Bouddhanath

Today, we will begin our cultural exploration with a visit to Kathmandu Durbar Square. You will explore its historic courtyards, admire the intricate Newar architecture, and witness the ancient 17th-century palaces where the Malla kings once ruled. You will also visit the Kumari Ghar, home of the Living Goddess, and see local artisans and worshippers bringing life to this centuries-old square. You will be astounded by the majestic temples that resemble pagodas, such as Kasthamandap, Kumari Ghar, Jagannath Temple, Taleju Temple, and others.  You don’t want to miss any of the camera moments that occur with every step you take inside the area.

Next, we will head to Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple. You will climb the stone steps up the hill, take in panoramic views of the valley, and see the stupa’s famous Buddha eyes gazing in all directions. As you walk around the stupa, you’ll notice the Buddha’s eyes painted on all four sides, quietly watching over the valley. They’re more than just a symbol—they represent wisdom and compassion, meant to guide and protect all living beings. At the very top, a gilded spire rises into the sky, while colorful prayer flags flutter in the wind, carrying hopes and blessings far and wide. The white dome, peaceful and powerful, stands at the heart of it all.

This isn’t just a Buddhist monument—it’s a place where Buddhist and Hindu beliefs blend naturally, creating a spiritual space that feels welcoming to everyone. With a history spanning over 2,500 years, the stupa holds stories, rituals, and meanings that have shaped generations. Being here isn’t just about seeing a sacred site—it’s about feeling the quiet strength and unity it represents.

In the afternoon, we will visit the magnificent Bouddhanath Stupa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a center of Tibetan Buddhism. This stupa is the biggest in Nepal and among the biggest in South Asia. It keeps an eye on people’s welfare and moral behavior with four pairs of eyes, each pointing in one of the four cardinal directions. The market is crowded with stores and kiosks offering a wide range of souvenirs and traditional handicrafts. The neighboring rooftop restaurant offers the finest view of the Stupa and some of the best photo opportunities. In general, you will walk with pilgrims around the massive dome, observe the vibrant monastery life, and enjoy a cup of tea on a rooftop café while soaking in the peaceful energy of the stupa.

Day03

Sightseeing in Bhaktapur Durbar Square and drive to Nagarkot

This morning, we will drive to Bhaktapur, one of the three medieval kingdoms of the Kathmandu Valley. We will visit the Bhaktapur Durbar Square, the oldest and largest of the three Durbar Squares in the Kathmandu Valley. It is generally a living museum of the medieval age, featuring beautiful statues, intricate wood carvings, and temples devoted to different deities in the Shikhara style and pagoda style. You will witness the four squares inside this area, including Durbar Square, Dattatreya Square, Natapole Square, and Pottery Square. The tallest temple, the Natapole Temple, the 55-window palace, and the Golden Gate are the most beautiful and well-carved structures you will see inside the area.

After finishing our visit to the area, we will then head towards Nagarkot, a serene hill station renowned for its panoramic Himalayan views and beautiful sunrise. In the evening, if the weather is clear, we can see the mountains turn pink and golden during the sunset period.

The narrow lanes you passed, and the way of living here, feel like this area is untouched by time.

Then, we will continue to Namobuddha, one of the holiest places for Buddhist pilgrims, which is said to honor the selflessness of Mahasattva, a young prince who sacrificed his own body here to save a starving tigress and her cubs. You will see the gradual unveiling of the Annapurna range as the sky begins to lighten, first in darkness and then in shades of pink and gold. The famously pointed tops of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Dhaulagiri, Annapurna II, and other tall peaks can be easily seen on a clear morning, shimmering in the early morning light.

After enjoying the scenery and capturing the pictures, we’ll drive back to the hotel and have a decent breakfast.

After breakfast, we will visit the lakeside, where we can take a boat ride to reach the famous Tal Barahi temple in the area. The Tal Barahi temple is situated at the center of the lake, featuring a 2-tiered pagoda architecture, dedicated to the Goddess Barahi, who is believed to be an incarnation of the Hindu Goddess Durga.

We will keep aside visiting the whole lakeside area for now, and we will continue our sightseeing with Davis Falls (Patale Chhango). At this waterfall, water roars down into an enigmatic subterranean passageway. Nearby the Davis Fall, we will visit Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, founded in the 16th century, which is the longest cave in Nepal. The cave is a must-see destination for adventurers and spiritual seekers alike, but its most thrilling feature is its secret entrance that unveils Davi’s Fall.

After having an early breakfast, we will go on a bit of an adventure, not too far from Pokhara but far enough to provide a variety of scenery. We’ll take a 45-minute journey to Phedi, the starting point for the hike to the Dhampus. Dhampus, a small Gurung settlement, is well-known for its peaceful way of life, ancient stone homes, and kind inhabitants.

The trail to Dhampus is quiet and scenic, offering a glimpse of terraced farmlands, stone-studded paths, and lush forests. As we ascend, the mountains begin to appear. Once we reach the village, we will witness the expansive views of the Annapurna range, especially Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail).
