For eight days, you’ll explore ancient temples, walk through quiet old towns, breathe in the fresh air from hillside viewpoints, and get a feel for how people live, pray, and celebrate here.
You’ll start in Kathmandu, which might feel a bit busy at first, but that’s part of its charm. You’ll wander through Thamel and Durbar Marg, perhaps stopping for street food or chatting with shopkeepers. Then we dive into the heart of the valley, where places like Swayambhunath, with prayer flags fluttering in the wind, and Pashupatinath, where life and death converge on the banks of a holy river, await us. At Bouddhanath, you’ll see monks walking around the stupa while soft chants and incense fill the air.
But it’s not all temples and rituals. You’ll also visit towns like Bhaktapur and Patan, where the streets are lined with red-brick houses and carved wooden windows. You’ll pass potters, weavers, and kids playing in the courtyards—life still moves slowly here.
